Mason and I saw this movie over the weekend and I LOVED it. I'm pretty sure Mason agreed to see it thinking it would inspire me to pursue my dreams of being a writer and end up the same way she does... rich. On a more realistic note, I liked learning about Julia Child and thought Meryl Streep captured her just the way I remeber seeeing her on TV. When I was younger I would watch her cooking show and work on imitating her voice because I thought it was so unique, not to mention amusing. Though the one thing I will not be imitating any time soon is her cooking those recipes looked impossible!

The Time Travelers Wife: The Movie

I saw this movie last week and I must say it did follow the book quite well. I was pleased with the casting, as I was reading the book I was imaging Rachel McAdams as Claire, before I ever saw a preview... really and truly I did. As for Henry, well he was very handsome and that is all I really imagined him being. Though I did cry quite a bit and no not because I'm pregnant, because I'm just a crier, plain and simple. In fact sometimes I really wish I could prevent my tear ducts from swelling and bursting but I just can't.
