Me and all the ladies in Mason's family got together for a little weekend craft project.
I think these fabric covered button bracelets turned out pretty darn cute. Thanks for the fun Saturday ladies.

VintageTiered Tray Project

I was feeling a little Martha the other day. So I woke up put on a clean perfectly pressed white dress shirt with some sensible tan pants and decided today was the day I would make a tiered tray.
We received this set of pink dishes for our wedding and have never used them, so I thought if I ruined them, no one would miss them. I made a trip to the DI to buy the vases and spent a total of $2.
I did a dry run. To see just how I wanted the trays to look.
As you can see all you need is two plates, something to go in between them and some epoxy glue. I lined the edges of the clear vases with the glue and it sets up in 5 minutes. Really easy.
I didn't measure exactly just eyeballed where the center was. They weren't perfect, but once you put something on them, I don't think anyone notices.

Makes for a great cupcake holders.
Finally a use for my pink dishes.

Cute Gift Idea

Once upon a time I found myself at Joanne's in search of some fabric. If you know me at all that line probably sounded like a complete lie but it's true. As I wondered through that wretched place I found some bobby pins with plastic flowers attached to them, and because I have the taste of a seven year old I thought they would look delightful in my hair. To my surprise, and I'm sure to yours as well, the flower later broke off and yes the bobby pins did look stupid in my hair. So I simply super glued a hair elastic to the back and I'm now calling it a ring. And as if I hadn't been innovative enough for one day I thought if I paired it with a hand lotion it would make such a sweet little gift.. and so I did.

Witchy Woman

Last Halloween my sisters, my mom and I made witches hats for Gardner Village's "Witches Night Out" and this year we all used them for a cute decoration. I placed mine on candlestick. We took a simple witches hat and stitched on fabric scraps. I think it makes for a spooky little craft. Hope you have fun plans for Halloween!

Fall Craft

I promise this little fall craft is much cuter than the pictures portay. I traced the leaves from a pattern, cut out two pieces of felt, stiched the two sides together and tacked to my ceiling with ribbon. These little lovelies are hanging over my kitchen sink. Here's to wishing you a happy fall weekend!

October Craft

I'm loving this new Halloween decoration! It is placed right on my entertainment center so I can enjoy it. The labels are stick-ons from Michaels and you just have to find any bottle you like. (This was especially easy when my mom and sister did all the shopping.. Thanks) The cute pumpkin decoration is from Swiss Days, compliments of Wendy.
Happy Halloween!
