Low Country Broil

My mom makes this at Bear Lake every year and Mason's been requesting it ever since. This recipe makes quite a bit so invite some friends and family over dump the food in the middle of the table and everyone picks out what they want. So fun! Enjoy!

16 C. Water
1/4 C. Old Bay Seasoning
2-3 t. red pepper
2-3 lbs. smoked sausage, cooked, cut into chunks
2 lbs. small potatoes
10 small onions peeled
5 ears corn , cut into thirds
2 lbs. shrimp
1/4 C. butter melted
1/4 C. herbs, thyme, oregono, basil

combine water, old bay seasoning ans pepper. Cover and bring to a boil, when boiling, after it comes to a boiul reduce, cover and simmer for 10 minutes add shrimp and cover for 3 minutes. Remove from heat let stand for 5 minutes. Drain then add butters and herbs. Serve on brown craft paper.

  2. YAY!! I can't wait to try this. . . you could just invite us over. ;-) But, wait the directions aren't complete.. . .please fill me in. This recipe looks so good!!!
