Just Another Coupon Mom

You know when you’re shopping online and you’ve finally decided you’ve got to have this product. You rationalize’ thinking you will never find it anywhere else, there will never be a deal like this again and finally you end with, if I don’t click purchase I will stop breathing. So, in order to save your own life, you click, because it was obviously the only sane option.
Then you fill out all your information; name, address, credit card information, and the name of your first born so they can kidnap your child if your credit card doesn’t go through. Next they’ll require some security question which has to do with your great grandmother’s roommate’s boyfriend’s first pet.
At last you reach the end of your journey and they ask for a coupon code. You think to yourself, a coupon code? Aw crap, now I’m the mom without a coupon. I’m the sucker who is going to pay full price for this while Nancy next door, who has perfectly pressed slacks, probably had a coupon for it. She always does. Then after I buy it she’ll tell me, “Oops, I wish I would have given you the coupon, you could have saved a bundle.” You’ll walk home in your wrinkled pants, step into your unkempt house, and first, curse Nancy; secondly you’ll wonder where she gets all these deals?
Well Nancy-up ladies. I just stumbled upon this site called couponchief.com. As of yet I have not found a store that they don’t have some kind of coupon for. They have over 50k coupons for over 15000 stores! It’s perfect for online shopping. Some of the coupons have a code while others you just click on, and once you are to the website of your purchase the discount will automatically apply. I also saw quite a few coupons for free shipping, which I have to say is the number one reason I don’t do more online shopping, sometimes the shipping simply doesn’t make it worth it. The moral of this story: I’d make a quick stop at couponchief.com before your next purchase. Simply type in the store at the top and then scroll through to see what kind of savings you can achieve. It’s an easy site to use.
I hope this helps!

Product Review: Gel Perfect Nails

Have you seen the Nutra Nail Gel Perfect nail kits popping up? I found mine at Walmart and gave it to myself as a stocking stuffer. I thought for $10 it was worth a try. I was hoping it would be a cheap version of Shellac nails, but regrettably I have to give it a bad review. The manicure only lasted a day, and must be taken off with acitone remover. It turns out Shellac nails are the way to go if you want it to last. Otherwise, I guess it's back to the old fashioned way.

Holiday Red

I've been crushing on all these red lips that seem to be popping up. So me and my coupons went and purchased Covergirl's ever red-dy Outlast Lip color. It honestly does outlast! The set includes a color and top coat. I applied the red once and used the top coat as a chap stick for a continual fresh look.  It's the perfect stocking stuffer!

True Bird Twist

This up-do has a vintage feel and NO bobby pins! I saw this tutorial on truebirds and had to give it a try. So easy. My hair hits just above my shoulders, it would also work with longer locks. True Bird  headbands are beautiful and I'd love to have a few, but they are a little pricey. I discovered any elastic headband will work. Also wouldn't this headband plus the twist make the prettiest wedding hair?

Something of Pinterest

You can't honestly tell me you haven't spent an unruly amount of time on pinterest. Right? I saw this today. I'm aching to try it out. Girls night anyone?

Fall Fashion

Love this.
Although does anyone else find it exhausting, not to mention expensive, to keep up with fashion? The other day I went to the mall. (That sentence seems confusing, I never go to the mall.) I looked around and then I looked down.. I was sporting jeans from an outlet store, a plain shirt from Walmart and some simple flats, the ultimate mom outfit. It was kind of depressing to think that at 26 I've already given up on the whole style part of life. I left the mall with a bad attitude and a diet coke. Also, while I'm still carrying around this attitude, this model has to be 5'9" and about 110 pounds.. in her bra. Why does the fashion/modeling industry hate short people? Never mind loving this.. Please omit and replace with bitter and jealous of this.. Yes that seems a little more appropriate.

A Bang Change

"Elle I forgot to tell you, I got bangs!" ~Legally Blond
Without fail I cut bangs every fall. I'm not sure why I think a shift in the weather merits a new hairdo, I just do. Although I am proud I was able to actually wait long enough for a professional to chop them. I've been known to cut my own locks...not a good idea. Also this is what Milly looks like without a nap...unhappy.

Dear Santa

I'm loving these headbands I've been seeing around lately. So perfect for an evening Christmas party. They would also make a lovely gift, don't you think? I've only been able to find them online. Where are you all purchasing these little dreams?

How Sad It Is

So there I was online shopping for a swimsuit and below my initial swimsuit search listed the next two most popular searches, the first being Weight Loss Planner and the next was find a therapist. Isn't that the way it goes... shop for a swimsuit, desperately search for a weight loss plan and then... call your shrink for an emergency session! I think we should all resort to swim wear such as the sample below and call it a saftey issue.
