Me and the book club ladies just finished discussing this one. Our conclusion: It's a must read. It's the kind of book that changes your perspective, and you'll never forget you read it. I couldn't believe I hadn't already read it before now. You'll be amazed at how unfair their childhood was, and equally amazed by the loyalty this family presents.
