If you are in search for an easy beach read you
really should pick this one up. You already know I’m a fan of Jennifer Weiner’s,
but I truly do love how she writes women. This novel chronicles the lives of
four women at a pivotal moment in their personal journey and by the end they
are all an integral part of each other’s story.
Weiner has a way of capturing the insecurities,
humor and intelligence women posses. As her words flow through your mind you
can’t help but indentify with her characters. Perhaps reading chick lit doesn't make me the most intelligent person in the world, but neither does talking to a two year old about pee-pee and poo-poo all week, I think it's safe to say my pride is long gone.
